Off the coast of Southern India - Day 15

A very rainy, humid at-sea day. We spent most of our time indoors. I was finally had the time to learn how to stitch together scenes from our camcorder, insert titles and do special effects.
I worked out in the ship’s gym for about an hour on the elliptical machine this morning. They have about eight elliptical and eight treadmills along with all types of weight machines. It is a pretty nice setup for such a small ship. There is a guy to give out bottled water and towels which is a nice touch.

At 3:00pm every day, our butler wheels a cart down the hallway where the suites are, knocks on your door and offers tea and pastries. I’ve never seen that done before on a ship. We ate in the dining room tonight. The food was pretty good but the service was not as well done as in the specialty restaurants. Lots of waiting between courses and really slowwww on filling my glass with the complimentary wine.

Tomorrow we dock in Cochin, India where it is supposed to be 100 degrees with 90% humidity. Jeff can’t wait!

By the way, our friend Barbara had commented that our pictures of the ship don't show any other people out on the decks. That's because it is really, really, really hot! I was the only idiot willing to go out and snap some photos. Maybe once the ship reaches the Greek waters will people starting venturing out more.

  1. Hey, pass some of that tea and pastries over this way ... sounds wonderful. What if you're not there, does "the butler" leave some in the room? How do you guys like the ship? ... your room? Slow service? Do you need to get somewhere fast? I wish I could get some slow service here instead of being raced out the door. Sounds like a very relaxing holiday ... enjoy!
