Cruising the Aegean Sea off Greece – Day 33

This was our last day of the first segment of the cruise, an at-sea day. We were able to see the Greek islands of Crete and Kasos as we sailed past them this afternoon. Tomorrow we’ll reach Athens, Greece and will be saying goodbye to all the good friends we’ve met over the last 24 days as they disembark and we continue our journey. We were invited to a goodbye dinner in Acqualina by our friends from Australia. We were seated at two tables of six, had lots of champagne, good wine, and especially a fantastic time as we bid farewell to everyone. It has been a terrific voyage so far and we can’t see how we could possibly meet more wonderful people than we’ve met over these past weeks. From the Napa Valley, to the Gold Coast of Australia, from Toronto to Carefree, Arizona, we’ll miss everyone terribly.
