Today our ship headed further south entering Drake Passage late this afternoon. Around 5:00p.m. we cruised past Cape Horn. Cape Horn is around 67 degrees west and 56 degrees south and is the most southerly point of South America. We cruised west past the island on its northern side and then turned around and headed east back past the island on its southern side before heading north towards Beagle Canal and Ushuaia, Argentina.
They are broadcasting the Oscars live in one of the showrooms and also on a tv channel in our staterooms. We’ll try out the party in the showroom but if we can’t hear anything because of too much partying, we’ll head on back to our room to enjoy the ceremonies in peace.
Good night!
