After sailing behind Vancouver Island’s protection through
the night, we headed out to the Pacific Ocean around lunchtime. The pitching and rolling was pretty
intense. I made Jeff put on a seasick
patch because even I was feeling a bit queasy.
Finally, by dinnertime, things settled down a bit more.
The clocks went back one hour today and will probably keep
going back every day now for the next few days.
We’re enjoying the ship and the seven sea days before we reach Russia.
So there is not too much to report other than reading,
eating, drinking and meeting people.
Good night!
