Every day so far, we had to change our clocks back one
hour. Tonight’s change will make it four
hours earlier than Las Vegas. We are
having a hard time adjusting and keep waking up very early in the morning ready
to start our day but no one is around.
It has been either rainy or cold and windy, so going outside
is not particularly enjoyable. We’ve
kept busy with different lectures, meeting people, playing trivia and lots of
reading. Luckily, this ship has a glass
covered pool area, so we feel like we’re sitting outside but it’s still warm. We love all these sea days.
From Jeff:
Hi everyone! Thought
it was about time for me to say something instead of just editing Ron’s work.
This is the first time we have been on this ship as a GRAND
VOYAGE.
The entire tone and tenor of the ship is very
different. Everything from the food to
the entertainment is up a notch or two from a regular cruise. Every night when we return to our cabin, we find
special gifts such as leather bound journals and pins.
It also means you get the chance to meet some very
interesting people. We have sat and
chatted with couples who have spent not just months cruising but actually
YEARS. We had dinner last night with a
couple who have logged over 1,000 days on this ship alone.
Needless to say, we are enjoying all of the conversations.
Well, that’s it for me.
Love to all.
Good night!
Ron and Jeff.....we are right there with you....how come we haven't seen you on the ship yet???? OK...we are there in spirit only but how we wish we were onboard with you both. Once again we will be following your blog (jealously of course). Have an amazing time and 2012 is the year we come visit.......Deb & Brent....
