Off the coast of the Kuril Islands - Day 13

Today we left the Pacific Ocean and entered the Sea of Okhotsk.  We will be sailing southwestward on the westside of the Kuril Islands.  Currently, we are at 50 degrees north, 156 degrees east and have sailed 3,260 nautical miles from Seattle.

The sun is out but the skyline is all fog.  With the seas calm, we were able to do a nice long walk around the promenade deck before getting some fruit while deciding on the path of our day.  Beautiful snow-capped peaks emerged above the fog as we passed the island of Paramushir.

Have a good day!
