Exeter, New Hampshire

The next day, after our complimentary breakfast, I walked the mile or so over to Hertz and picked up our car.  I drove back to the hotel (which was a unique experience as I discovered Boston's streets are all one-way and all head east and I needed to go west,) picked up Jeff, who had checked us out and we headed over to Harvard to walk the campus.  Jeff tried to get into the library but it was for students only.  We shopped in the school bookstore, buying lots of t-shirts and hats and enjoyed the village of Cambridge.  Before heading to the Manchester airport to pick up Jeff's mom and sister, we decided to get a light lunch at a local Mexican lunch.  We over ordered and left stuffed.

Mom and Stacy's plane was on time and after loading up the car with their luggage, we began the half hour drive over to Exeter.  We checked into the Fairfield Inn where we would we staying for the next three nights.  Our room was small but appeared clean and fresh.  Beth and Stewart took us all for a nice Chinese dinner in the quaint town.  The food was excellent even though Jeff and I could eat very little after our huge lunch.  We walked the couple of blocks of the town and discovered an ice cream shop where we got scoops of some of the best tasting ice cream ever!
