We spent the last three days cruising up the coast of Chile going from Punta Arenas to Valparaiso. Because the weather was so good, the captain was able to take us off the normal path and he spent one afternoon getting us close to a glacier (I think the Amalfi??, not sure as I lost the paperwork describing it). It was quite awesome dodging large pieces of floating ice, turning 360 degrees so everyone could see the glacier and then cruising back out. The vistas of the Chilean fjords passing by our window were amazing.
Next up is Valparaiso where 1,700 passengers disembark, another 1,700 embark and 1,100 of us stay on. We will have to change cabins but our room steward will help and nothing on hangers has to be put into suitcases. We also have a tour scheduled, so it will be a busy, busy day.
Good night!

Hi, sounds like an exciting time you two are having! The pictures of those glaciers are stunning! We are having "summer like" weather here, you never know what season it might feel like any more. Bye for now, Cindy :)
